After what has been a tumultuous 18 months, we are finally getting a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel. Here’s hoping 2022 will be a better year for all, as countries begin to emerge from the pandemic. As far as we’re concerned, weddings will never be the same again, and that’s why we’ve dedicated this issue to asking wedding photographers about the most meaningful weddings they’ve shot, and their predictions for future weddings (hint: no frills, intimate, and emotional).
Bridal portraits, too, have shifted, as most couples opt to have theirs done locally. It’s no longer about magnificent landscapes in exotic destinations; rather, photographers are making couples the focus and highlight. Not only does this allow personalities to shine, but as viewers, we’re invited to immerse ourselves in their authenticity and undeniable chemistry.
